According to initial information, on December 2, heavy rain occurred in Lam Son commune, causing rocks and soil from the slope to flow onto the road. At that time, many people and vehicles were passing through this location. Upon receiving the news, the commune authorities promptly dispatched forces to the scene to set up checkpoints, temporarily banning vehicles from traveling to ensure safety, and at the same time carrying out cleanup work. Ngoan Muc Pass connects Phan Rang with Da Lat. This winding road passes through rugged mountainous terrain, with many locations at risk of landslides during the rainy season.
