While picking up coffee, a woman fell into a 25 meter deep well.

(NLDO) – While picking coffee, a woman accidentally slipped and fell into a 25 meter deep well, seriously injured.

On the afternoon of January 3, Ea Ngai Commune Police (Krong Buk District, Dak Lak Province) said they had just coordinated with local people to rescue a woman who was picking coffee and unfortunately fell into a 25-meter deep well.

Accordingly, at about 1:00 a.m. the same day, Ea Ngai Commune Police received a report from residents in Village 2 about a woman falling into a 25-meter deep well in a coffee garden in the area.

Immediately afterwards, Ea Ngai Commune Police sent forces to the scene to coordinate with local people to organize rescue.

At the scene, the well was about 25 meters deep but fortunately there was no water. After 30 minutes of rescue operations, the police and local people were able to get the woman out of the well with two broken legs and multiple injuries.

The victim was identified as Ms. H. (33 years old, from Phu Yen province).

Ms. H. said that recently, she came from Phu Yen to Dak Lak to work. At around 10am on January 2, while she was picking coffee beans, she unfortunately slipped and fell into a deep well.

Ms. H. has been taken to Buon Ho Town General Hospital (Dak Lak province) for treatment.
