At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) Prabowo Subianto, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and his wife paid a State visit to the Republic of Indonesia from March 9 to 13, 2025.
The relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia, built by President Sukarno and President Ho Chi Minh , is an invaluable asset for both nations.
The two countries have expanded their relations in all areas and became Strategic Partners in 2013.
The two countries are aiming to increase bilateral trade to $18 billion by 2028.
