Affirming its role as a reliable support for union members, along with doing a good job of protecting the rights and taking care of the lives of union members and workers, the Provincial Health Sector Trade Union and its affiliated grassroots trade unions have mobilized cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the sector to constantly strive, compete in creative labor to complete professional tasks well, and actively participate in movements launched by the Trade Union and the Sector.

Currently, the Provincial Health Trade Union directly manages 29 grassroots trade unions with nearly 7,300 union members. Closely following the programs and plans of the superior trade unions, every year the Provincial Health Trade Union develops plans and directs its subordinate grassroots trade unions to coordinate with the same-level professionals to deploy and organize many practical activities aimed at caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees.

The Trade Union regularly coordinates to monitor and inspect the implementation of labor policies and regimes, participates in the council for regular salary increases and early salary increases; supervises the work of ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, preventing occupational diseases during work... Every year, 100% of the Trade Unions coordinate with the government to organize conferences for civil servants and employees, conferences for employees in accordance with regulations. Union members and employees promote the spirit of democracy, express their thoughts and aspirations, contribute ideas to build internal spending regulations, regulations of agencies and units... The facilities and working environment of medical staff, doctors and employees at the units are increasingly strengthened and improved according to prescribed standards, basically meeting occupational safety and prevention of occupational diseases; all technical means of work have a usage process, ensuring safety for employees and employees.

In addition to coordinating to ensure the payment of salaries, salary allowances, and special job-specific allowances, the Industry Trade Union directs the grassroots Trade Unions to regularly learn about and grasp the living conditions and family circumstances of union members in the unit so that the Union as well as the government organization can promptly visit, encourage, and help when necessary; maintain the organization of meetings with union members, give gifts to children of employees who have achieved high academic achievements; support union members with difficult family circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Workers' Month, Vietnamese Doctors' Day... At the same time, continue to implement welfare programs and cooperation agreements for union members and employees in the industry to participate and benefit.

In addition, the Provincial Health Trade Union also organizes competitions, cultural and sports exchange programs... to create a meaningful playground for union members and workers, contributing to improving the spiritual life of union members; building the image of union members and workers in the health sector as comprehensively developed in spirit and physical strength, enthusiastic in working, studying and working to do a good job of taking care of people's health.

Material and spiritual life is guaranteed, contributing to motivating union members to actively respond to campaigns and patriotic emulation movements such as: "Good worker, creative worker", "Improving medical ethics and pharmaceutical ethics", "Good at public work, good at housework", "Competing to study to improve educational and professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of integration and development", "Innovating service style and attitude towards patient satisfaction"... The Industry Union also coordinates with units to guide and organize collectives and individuals to register scientific research topics. In 2024, 252 topics and initiatives of civil servants and employees were accepted, of which 3 provincial-level topics are being implemented.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Health Sector Trade Union Hoang Thi Minh Tham said: Based on the practical situation in each unit, the Sector Trade Union directs the grassroots Trade Unions to continue to perform well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, and to do a good job of caring for and contributing to improving the quality of life of union members and workers. At the same time, strengthen propaganda, education and mobilization of the staff to well implement the resolutions and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, the Sector and the Trade Union organization; promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, create conditions for cadres and union members to study and improve their professional qualifications and skills, to meet the requirements and tasks during their work.
