This year, Hanoi University of Pharmacy is recruiting students through four methods: direct admission; admission based on a combination of high school transcripts and SAT/ACT certificates, or admission based on transcripts from specialized schools; admission based on scores from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's aptitude test; and admission based on high school graduation exam scores.
For admission based on high school transcripts combined with international standardized tests, candidates need an SAT score of 1350/1600 or an ACT score of 30/36 for Pharmacy; a minimum SAT score of 1300 and an ACT score of 27 for other majors. Additionally, candidates must have excellent academic performance for three years, with a minimum GPA of 8 in each subject of the chosen subject combination in grades 10, 11, and 12.
The admission score is the sum of the achieved score plus converted priority points. Specifically: Total achieved score = SAT score * 90 / 1600 (or ACT score * 90 / 36) + (Subject 1 + Subject 2 + Subject 3) / 3.
Priority points conversion = [(30 - Total points achieved/100*30)/7.5*Priority points]/30*100.
For students from specialized or gifted high schools, the admission requirements include excellent academic performance for three years in specialized classes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; and a minimum score of 8 in each subject within the chosen combination for each year. The admission score for this group is the sum of the average score for each subject plus converted priority points and bonus points.
Hanoi University of Pharmacy awards bonus points to candidates applying through methods 2B, 3, and 4 if they have an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher (adding 0.25 to 2 points), or have won a prize in the provincial-level 12th-grade excellent student competition in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology; or a national-level honorable mention (adding 0.25 to 1 point).
The University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City uses four admission methods. Three of these methods apply to all majors: admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam combined with a preliminary selection of international English certificates; and direct admission according to the 2024 university admission regulations.
This is the first time the school has used SAT exam results as the admissions method for two programs: Medicine and Dentistry.
This year, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy ( Hue University) is recruiting 1,690 students through two methods: Admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam (for all training programs); and admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam combined with an international English certificate (for Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy programs).
With the combined admission method, candidates must ensure that the total score of the three exams/subjects in the chosen subject combination and any priority points (if applicable) is equal to or above the minimum quality assurance threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training , and the admission score is determined by the Hue University Admissions Council.
At the same time, ensure that the international English certificate is valid. Candidates must achieve an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 or higher, or a TOEFL iBT score of 79 or higher, or a TOEFL ITP score of 561 or higher.

The University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) reserves 6% of its admissions quota for candidates with IELTS certificates or equivalent international English certificates. Accordingly, the university requires an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher for Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy programs; and an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher for other programs.

The university prioritizes candidates with IELTS scores of 8.0 or higher, considering scores from highest to lowest until all available slots are filled. If the number of slots is exceeded, candidates at the bottom of the list will be considered based on the total score of two subjects in the admission combination, which must include mathematics.
If there are still vacancies, the school will consider candidates with an IELTS score below 8.0. The admission score is calculated by adding the converted IELTS score to the scores of two subjects in the admission combination (Mathematics is compulsory). Bonus points are added to the total admission score based on the high school graduation exam scores.

The university prioritizes applicants with an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher combined with excellent academic records for all three years of high school. The admission principle is to consider IELTS scores from highest to lowest until all quotas are filled. Specifically, the quotas for each program based on IELTS are as follows: Medical 20, Dentistry 4, Pharmacy 7.
Hai Duong Medical Technical University uses 5 admission methods. Of these, method 4 involves admission based on English proficiency certificates such as IELTS 6.0 or higher and TOEFL iBT 60 or higher.

For other programs, candidates need to have achieved a good academic record for all three years of high school, with an average score of 6.5 or higher in each of the six semesters for each pair of subjects as described above.
