Dien Bien adjusts names of many educational institutions

GD&TĐ - The People's Committee of Dien Bien province has just issued a decision to rename many schools, standardizing them according to administrative place names, creating convenience in educational management.

According to the newly issued decision, 29 educational institutions at preschool, primary, secondary and high school levels in many old districts, towns and cities of Dien Bien province will be renamed according to the new administrative locations where the schools are located.

The name change is only administrative in nature and does not affect the organizational structure, teaching staff or students' learning rights. The People's Committee of Dien Bien province requires units to update the new name in management records, diplomas, certificates as well as related administrative procedures.
