Transfer and appointment of the Chief Inspector of Nghe An province.

On December 10th, the Inspectorate of Nghe An province held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee regarding the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vu Tuan Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hop Minh commune, to the position of Chief Inspector of Nghe An province. Mr. Vu Tuan Dung handed over his duties at his old unit to take on his new assignment as assigned from December 9th.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee had transferred, assigned, and appointed Mr. Chu The Huyen, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief Inspector of the province, to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Muong Xen commune for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Chu The Huyen handed over his previous duties and assumed his new position on December 9th.

Mr. Vu Tuan Dung was born on September 28, 1976, in Ha Nam province (now Ninh Binh province); he holds a Master's degree in Architecture and has advanced political theory qualifications.

Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Vo Trong Hai, acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Vu Tuan Dung's work and contributions over the past period. He requested that Mr. Dung comprehensively study and understand the situation, focus on stabilizing the organization, and work with the leadership team of the Provincial Inspectorate to successfully complete the assigned tasks. Mr. Vu Tuan Dung needs to pay attention to building a truly clean, capable, and honest inspection team; do a good job in personnel management, assign the right people to the right jobs, and develop the abilities and strengths of each individual; and boldly adjust, rotate, and supplement personnel when practical requirements arise. The inspection sector needs to strongly innovate its leadership and management methods; promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in inspection activities; and develop inspection plans with a focus on key areas and pressing issues of public concern.

Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Vo Trong Hai, requested that each inspection truly delve into the core issues, clarify the nature of the problems, and definitively determine right from wrong, ensuring objectivity, timeliness, and transparency; adhering to the principle of no forbidden areas and no exceptions; upholding legal discipline and strengthening the people's trust in inspection work. The sector needs to focus on clarifying and resolving outstanding cases and projects. The sector should continue to improve the effectiveness of citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative practices; proactively grasp the situation at the grassroots level, strengthen dialogue, detect violations early, prevent the emergence of hotspots, minimize prolonged and escalated complaints, and ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

Each official and employee of the Provincial Inspectorate needs to uphold the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, strictly adhere to discipline and regulations, be loyal, honest, courageous, and creative, and work together with the leadership team to successfully complete their tasks in the context of the entire inspection system being unified from July 1st, eliminating the old departmental, sectoral, and district-level inspection agencies.
