At this time, Mr. Nguyen Van Liem (69 years old, from An Giang province) was in critical condition with symptoms of respiratory arrest, foaming at the mouth, and exhaustion. Recognizing that the victim's life was in imminent danger, the task force calmly handled the situation, quickly administered initial first aid, and simultaneously reported to their commander and assisted in transporting the patient and his family to Tan An General Hospital for emergency treatment.
According to information from the hospital and family, initial findings indicate Mr. Liem showed signs of acute heart failure or myocardial infarction – a condition that can be life-threatening if treatment is delayed. Mr. Liem is now out of critical condition and is continuing to be monitored and treated.
