At the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Site, Mr. Hanazumi Hideyo, Governor of Niigata Prefecture (Japan), and his colleagues visited the exhibition hall displaying artifacts excavated during various excavations at the Ho Dynasty Citadel and the Nam Giao Altar in Tay Do, such as stone steles, stone cannonballs, bricks inscribed with inscriptions, and phoenix heads. The representative artifacts displayed here are closely linked to the origin, existence, and development of the Ho Dynasty.

Also at the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Site, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Management Board introduced the delegation to the South Gate area, the main gate built with a three-arched structure. The middle arch features the most clearly visible Royal Road – the road used by the King. From the South Gate, the road extends for more than 3km down to the Nam Giao Altar – where rituals of harmony between heaven, earth, and humanity are performed.
To support the conservation, promotion, and dissemination of the value of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Site, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has collected and gathered a large quantity of scattered citadel building stones from around the citadel walls to display outdoors and as a check-in point for tourists.

Informing the delegation, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Thi, stated: Since becoming a World Heritage site, Thanh Hoa province has always considered this one of the important tasks in fulfilling its strategic commitment to preserving and promoting the value of the Ho Dynasty Citadel heritage. This includes implementing a plan to effectively preserve and promote this unique heritage site by linking it with tourism . Accordingly, in the period from 2011 to 2021, the Ho Dynasty Citadel has been prioritized for research and excavation of relic sites in the Inner Citadel, the Moat, the Nam Giao Altar, etc. Through this, the great and outstanding value of the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Cultural Heritage site has been further affirmed. The Provincial People's Committee has also approved the Management Plan for the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Cultural Heritage Site for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2040. This plan was developed by Thanh Hoa province based on research results in the fields of history, archaeology, and other related disciplines, with advice from international experts from UNESCO.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi also expressed his sincere gratitude to Japanese organizations for their interest in supporting Thanh Hoa province in restoring historical relics in the buffer zone of Ho Citadel, such as the ancient house in Vinh Tien commune - one of the most beautiful ancient houses in Vietnam.
