Following an idea from Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Nhung, a lecturer at SKEMA Business School Paris, after nearly a day of fundraising, almost 70 overseas Vietnamese families, as well as current and former international students, donated 3,200 euros. This money was handed directly to the athletes of the Vietnamese Paralympic team at the meeting. The Kite Association also donated 900 euros in cash and gifts collected from its member families.

Children of overseas Vietnamese families excitedly posed for souvenir photos with the delegation.
While parents were busy buying souvenirs, the Vietnamese language students meticulously picked dried lavender buds and put them into small bags, hoping the delegation would bring back something special from France to Vietnam, just as the people here always cherish and feel the warmth and affection of the flowers.
Mr. Thai Thanh Thiem, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Cultural and Tourism Promotion in France and Europe, and Director of Pacific Voyages, represented the Association and presented a cash gift to the delegation.
