Yen Bai Vocational College delegation organized for Lao students to visit Division 355

On December 2, the Yen Bai Vocational College Youth Union organized for 70 Laotian union members and students to visit and learn about the traditions of Division 355, Military Region 2.

The program was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, to strengthen traditional education and strengthen the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

During the program, students offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs; listened to the leaders of Division 355 introduce the history of formation, combat and growth of Regiment 82 and Division 355 - the unit with nearly 14 years of international missions in Northern Laos, achieved many feats and was awarded many noble awards by the Lao State.

The representative of the 355th Division Commander emphasized the special and loyal relationship between Vietnam and Laos; affirmed the close bond between the two People's Armies built during the war and continued to develop strongly in the new period.

At the same time, the Commander of Division 355 hopes that Lao students studying in Lao Cai province will continue to make efforts to practice, preserve and promote the tradition of friendship between the two countries.

Representatives of Division 355 presented flowers to the delegation of Yen Bai Vocational College.

The tour helps Lao students gain a deeper understanding of the combat history of Division 355, and is an opportunity for students to enhance cultural exchanges and raise awareness of national defense. This is also a meaningful activity in the coordination program between the school and military units, contributing to training the young generation to become a "friendship bridge" between Vietnam and Laos.
