On the morning of December 4, at Dong Tac fishing port, Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station (Dak Lak Border Guard) received 3 fishermen in distress in the eastern area of ​​Truong Sa, who were brought safely ashore by local fishing boats.

Previously, at 6:52 a.m. on November 28, fishing boat PY-96202-TS owned by Mr. Luong Cong Hau, while exploiting seafood in the area east of Truong Sa, about 320 nautical miles from the coast of Khanh Hoa , encountered bad weather due to the influence of storm No. 15, causing the boat to break water and sink.

Immediately after, a local fishing boat promptly approached and rescued 2 workers. At the same time, the Navy discovered and rescued 1 more worker, bringing all 3 workers to Son Ca Island.

By the morning of December 4, fishing boat PY-96310-TS of Mr. Le Van Hien (residing in Phu Yen ward) had brought 3 workers in distress to Dong Tac fishing port safely. Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station sent military doctors to conduct initial health check-ups, provide food, rest and carry out procedures according to regulations.

Regarding the incident, at around 9:30 p.m. on December 1, the Navy on Son Ca Island discovered a body drifting onto the island. Through identification, the body was identified as Mr. Le Van Cuong, a worker on fishing boat PY-96202-TS. It is expected that the HQ-633 ship of Naval Region 4 will bring the victim's body to Cam Ranh port.
