The first unit in Hai Duong to respond to 'Ao Dai Week'

On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day, March 8, and in response to the "Ao Dai Week" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Thanh Mien District Women's Union organized the contest "Charming and confident Thanh Mien women through photos" on the social network Facebook.

The contest was attended by 17 contestants representing over 35,000 members of the Women’s Union in communes and towns in the district. Each contestant chose a photo of herself wearing the most beautiful ao dai and sent it to the District Women’s Union to post on the “Thanh Mien Women” information page on Facebook for members and people to vote according to the prescribed rules.

The program ends at 4:00 p.m. on March 5, 2025.

Based on criteria such as number of likes, comments, shares on Facebook, the Organizing Committee will score the contestants in order from highest to lowest.

After that, the District Women's Union will organize a live Ao Dai performance competition between the contestants. The organizing committee will base on the results of the two competitions to select the contestants with the highest prizes.

Thanh Mien District Women's Union is the first unit in Hai Duong to respond to "Ao Dai Week" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in the form of an online photo contest combined with a live performance.
