The plan of the consortium of ENCITY International Consulting JSC and PT Studio Rancang Urban Selaras (URBAN+) has just won first prize in the contest for ideas on planning to convert the functions of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the results of the competition "Planning ideas for converting the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area in An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province".

Accordingly, the competition plan with code U618 of the consortium of ENCITY International Consulting JSC and PT Studio Rancang Urban Selaras (URBAN+) was awarded first prize in the competition for ideas on functional conversion planning.

The competition plan with code D369 of the joint venture Dinh Phat Investment Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company and OMGEVING Asia LLC won second prize.

Meanwhile, the competition plan with code N959 of the joint venture Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute and Urban Planning and Development Research Institute won third prize.

The competition for ideas on planning to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area in An Binh Ward was launched from November 4 to December 2, 2024.

After the preliminary round, there were 7 consulting units that met the conditions and suitable capacity to enter the second round.

The functional unit will award the first prize worth 900 million VND; the second prize 500 million VND and the third prize 200 million VND. The contest organizing agency will also support 100 million VND for each participating unit.

The 1/2,000 scale zoning plan converts the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an urban - commercial - service area in An Binh ward with an area of ​​about 324 hectares.

The organization of the competition for planning ideas aims to select the best planning ideas, maximizing the potential of this area. Determine the location of the province's political and administrative center with a suitable area scale, ensuring connection with the existing urban center, organizing squares and parks along the river, maximizing the potential of the area in the overall adjustment project of Bien Hoa city's master plan until 2045, ensuring synchronization between planning levels.

Based on the results of the selected planning competition, the competition organizer decides to choose a consulting unit to prepare a detailed planning dossier at a scale of 1/500 and organize a competition for the architectural plan of the political - administrative center of the province.
