On the afternoon of August 3rd, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the August 2024 Party branch meeting in Minh Tan village, Quang Minh commune, Hai Ha district. Also present was Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of the Hai Ha District Party Committee.
The Minh Tan village Party cell in Quang Minh commune, Hai Ha district, has 19 Party members, including 5 who are exempt from attending meetings. At the meeting, Party members focused on evaluating, discussing, and reviewing the results of leadership work in July and outlining directions and tasks for August 2024. During the month, the Party cell seriously and fully implemented directives, resolutions, regulations, programs, plans, and documents from Party committees at all levels, especially Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, of the Politburo "on Party Congresses at all levels leading to the 14th National Congress of the Party" within the Party committee and to 100% of the Party members. The Party cell directed mass organizations to effectively carry out propaganda work for holidays in the month; effectively implemented measures to prevent and control African swine fever; and encouraged households registered for aquaculture to strengthen the protection of aquatic resources. The Party branch organized the people and mass organizations to clean up the environment, village roads and alleys to implement the "Bright, Green, Clean and Beautiful" program, collecting waste, maintaining environmental hygiene, and beautifying the cultural center area and village roads in a total of 3 sessions, with 257 participants. In particular, they renovated the rural road lighting system after the storm, installing 12 streetlights worth 1,500,000 VND, funded by contributions from the people.
During the meeting, party members focused on discussing and contributing ideas to the results of implementing the Party branch's resolution in July, and the direction and tasks for August; proposing recommendations on several issues regarding investment in upgrading and repairing the village cultural house and the embankment along the Ha Coi River; and continuing to maintain emulation movements and campaigns to jointly build model new rural areas.
Comrade Nguyen Kim Anh, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of the Hai Ha District Party Committee, received and clarified some proposals and suggestions from Party members at the meeting; expressing the hope that Party members in the branch would continue to contribute to building Minh Tan village into an increasingly civilized and developed place.
Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nghiêm Xuân Cường, highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party branch in July, the flexible and effective organization and management of Party branch activities, and the serious participation and frank, constructive contributions of Party members. The Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that Party members and the people of the province in general, and Minh Tân village, Quảng Minh commune in particular, would continue to disseminate and publicize directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central Government, the province, and the district; strictly abide by the law on aquaculture and fisheries exploitation; promote drowning prevention; effectively organize summer activities; and actively participate in local movements and campaigns. He requested the district to continue to consider projects for the renovation and upgrading of district and village projects and works according to planning and regulations.
On the occasion of attending the Party branch meeting, Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, presented a commemorative gift to the Party branch of Minh Tan village, Quang Minh commune (Hai Ha district).
