Consider naming options for streets in Dien Bien Phu City

Comrade Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference.

Based on the current urban situation and the plan of the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu city, naming and adjusting the length of roads is necessary to ensure compliance with the reality and socio-economic development of the city. Currently, in Dien Bien Phu city, there are 18 named roads, 38 unnamed roads; of which 4 named roads need to adjust the length: Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Be Van Dan Street, Tran Can Street, Phan Dinh Giot Street. The Advisory Council will consult with members and related units to unify and approve the plan. Based on the province's road name bank, as well as comparing existing roads and road names, new names will be given to 38 roads and the length of 4 roads will be adjusted.

Leaders of the Department of Construction gave opinions at the conference.

At the meeting, there was also a proposal to add names to Dien Bien Phu City Square and the regulating lake (Noong Bua ward).

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Vu A Bang requested the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu city and the consulting unit to take into account the comments to avoid overlapping and duplication in the draft. Update the complete subdivision, note the names of the entertainment areas; complete the contents no later than March 23.
