Comrade Nguyen Nhat Truong holds the position of Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

DTO - On the morning of July 30th, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province held a conference to announce decisions on organizational structure and personnel matters.

Attending the conference was Tran Tri Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province.

The conference announced the Prime Minister's decision on the establishment of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board. Simultaneously, the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee appointing the Head and Deputy Heads of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board was announced and presented.

Comrade Tran Tri Quang presented the decision to transfer and appoint Comrade Nguyen Nhat Truong to the position of Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Comrade Nguyen Nhat Truong, Head of the Tien Giang Industrial Parks Management Board, has been transferred and appointed as Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board for a term of 5 years. Comrades Nguyen Duy Thanh (former Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board); Nguyen Huu Nghia (former Deputy Head of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board); Nguyen Thanh Vu (Deputy Head of the Tien Giang Industrial Parks Management Board); and Le Hieu Nghia (Deputy Head of the Tien Giang Industrial Parks Management Board) have been transferred and appointed as Deputy Heads of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Comrade Tran Tri Quang delivered a speech at the conference.

In his remarks at the conference, Comrade Tran Tri Quang congratulated the newly appointed leaders of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board. According to Comrade Tran Tri Quang, the province is currently developing the documents for the Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The draft documents prioritize industrial development. Dong Thap still has significant potential for industrial development; economic growth and increased budget revenue necessitate industrial development. Therefore, following this conference, the Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board must strengthen the organizational structure and assign tasks in a spirit of unity to successfully complete assigned duties. Comrade Tran Tri Quang emphasized that industrial development is a breakthrough and a new direction to become an industrial province. Therefore, the Dong Thap Provincial Economic Zone Management Board must support industrial park investors in increasing occupancy rates and attract secondary investors to the industrial parks.
