Storms toppled many trees and houses in Lam Dong

The thunderstorm on the afternoon of July 20 caused many trees to fall in Lam Dong province.

Initial information, at around 1:00 p.m. on July 20, in Ward 1 Bao Loc, Ward 2 Bao Loc, Ward 3 Bao Loc, Ward B'Lao, Commune Bao Lam 1, Commune Bao Lam 2 and Bao Lam 4 ( Lam Dong province), there was heavy rain that lasted for many hours.

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds caused trees to fall on the roads, causing local traffic jams.

At about 5:30 p.m., the scene was cleared.

Many fallen trees broke power lines causing local power outages and many lamp posts on some roads were broken and damaged.

On Thi Sach Street, Ward 2, Bao Loc, fallen trees caused power lines to fall, causing a local power outage. In Ward 3, Bao Loc, heavy rain also caused at least 4-5 houses to be flooded, causing severe flooding.

In Bao Lam 1 commune, many trees were found to have fallen across the road in the central area. In addition, two lamp posts were broken by the wind.

Currently, localities are actively overcoming the consequences caused by storms and tornadoes, and coordinating to count the damage caused by heavy rain.
