In infrastructure development, the movement "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure" was widely deployed, mobilizing more than 11 billion VND from social resources; People donated over 34.5 hectares of land, contributing 15,000 working days to concretize nearly 47 km of rural roads.

The movement “For the poor - No one left behind” has achieved remarkable results, demonstrating profound humanity. By 2025, the commune will complete ahead of schedule the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; the poverty rate will decrease to 18.05%, an average annual decrease of 11.3%.

Livelihood support models, vocational training, and technology transfer have been effectively implemented, helping many households to stabilize their lives. In the field of agricultural and forestry economic development, Son Luong has newly planted and replaced 1,500 hectares of forest, including 1,300 hectares of cinnamon, with fresh cinnamon bark output reaching 1,000 tons/year, bringing in an economic value of more than 22 billion VND. The highlight in the emulation movement implementation in Son Luong is to take the grassroots as the center, considering the Party cell, village and hamlet as the nucleus of the movement.

Many advanced models were discovered, nurtured and replicated promptly. Notable among them was comrade Trieu Van Ly - Secretary of the Vang Ngan village Party Cell, who for many consecutive years was honored as an advanced model as one of the three characters of the year at the 2021 Golden Hammer and Sickle Journalism Awards.

Mr. Ly shared: “Previously, Vang Ngan village was the most difficult area in the commune, but now it has become a well-off village. People unite to develop a common cinnamon hill of more than 40 hectares, contributing hundreds of millions of dong to the community development fund every year. There are no more drug addicts in the village, and people's lives are increasingly stable.”

Models and examples from the patriotic emulation movement have created positive ripple effects, arousing the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement, strengthening the people's confidence and aspiration to rise up.

Entering the 2025 - 2030 period, Son Luong commune continues to promote the patriotic emulation movement, striving to complete the goal of meeting new rural standards by 2030.
