Today, April 18, the Vietnam Futsal Team had a recovery training session after the last match, and at the same time regained their physical and mental strength to prepare for the match against the Chinese Futsal Team on April 19.
The training session of the Vietnam Futsal Team lasted for 60 minutes with exercises to help the players recover after a stressful match with the Myanmar Futsal Team. To relieve the psychological pressure after not being able to win on the opening day, the assistants also came up with some physical games to help the players relax.
At the end of the training session, Coach Diego Giustozzi spent about 15 minutes instructing the players on some tactical exercises such as using the power-play attack or organizing a defense when the opponent deploys this attack. The head coach of the Vietnam Futsal Team gave detailed instructions on how to move to break the opponent's defense system when attacking as well as neutralize the opponent's attack plans when organizing a defense.
Regarding the health of the entire team, in a collision with a Myanmar player on the afternoon of April 17, Anh Duy accidentally fell on a television microphone placed outside the sidelines, resulting in a back injury. This player was unable to practice on the morning of April 18 and needed medical attention. Whether Anh Duy can play in the match against the Chinese Futsal Team or not is still awaiting the assessment of the medical team.
