Coffee price forecast tomorrow 5/31/2025 - market continues to decline.
As of May 30, both domestic and international coffee markets have decreased. However, according to statistics, compared to the same period last year, domestic coffee prices are still 8,500 VND/kg higher.
According to experts, domestic coffee prices continue to fall, under pressure from abundant supply and the downward trend of Robusta on the international market. In addition, although Arabica prices have increased slightly, the overall recovery signal is still unclear. Growers should closely monitor price movements to choose the right time to sell, and pay attention to transportation costs when fuel prices have not cooled down.
Experts say that with the current trend, coffee prices are expected to continue to be under pressure in the short term. However, in the long term, global coffee demand is still increasing, especially in Asian and North American markets, which can support coffee prices to recover.
Global market developments, Brazil is harvesting its 2025 Arabica crop, with yields forecast to decline significantly in line with the cycle. The biennial cycle of Arabica coffee trees typically alternates between good and bad years, and 2025 is expected to be a low-yield year. Brazil’s Arabica yields are generally on the low side, in line with forecasts.
Currently, the main factor pressuring prices is demand concerns. Several large corporations such as Starbucks, Hershey and Mondelez International said that the basic import tax of 10% in the US could increase retail prices and reduce the purchasing power of roasted coffee globally. This raised concerns that despite increasing supply, the market would still face downward pressure due to slowing consumption.
