HEAVY RAIN FORECAST
Over the past 24 hours, Nghe An experienced scattered rain and showers; Ha Tinh had moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy and exceptionally heavy rain; rainfall amounts from 3:00 AM on October 13th to 3:00 AM on October 14th were generally 50-150mm; particularly in the southern part of Ha Tinh province, rainfall was generally 100-350mm, with some areas exceeding 350mm, such as Kim Son Lake (404.4mm) and Ky Thinh (398.2mm).
From October 14th to the night of October 15th, Ha Tinh experienced moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain and thunderstorms. The rainfall amount generally ranged from 50 to 100mm, with some areas exceeding 200mm.
Nghe An Province: From October 14th to the night of October 15th, northern Nghe An and mountainous areas will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall generally ranging from 20-40mm, and in some places exceeding 40mm; southern Nghe An will have moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with rainfall generally ranging from 50-100mm, and in some places exceeding 150mm, such as Vinh, Hon Ngu, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, etc.
On October 16-17, heavy rain continued in Ha Tinh, then spread to Nghe An and Thanh Hoa . Heavy rain in the North Central region is expected to continue and its development will be complex.
