1,150 delegates expected to attend the Hanoi City Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2025-2030 period

At the thematic information conference and briefing on the implementation of key tasks of the city's press work in September 2025 held on the afternoon of September 11, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Ngo Minh Hoang said that the Hanoi Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2025-2030 is expected to be held on the morning of October 10.

According to comrade Ngo Minh Hoang, in the emulation movement for the period 2020-2025, the city, localities, units, collectives and individuals have been recognized by the Party and State and awarded many noble prizes. A total of 1,933 collectives and individuals were commended by the President and Prime Minister, in particular, 59 outstanding individuals were awarded the title "Outstanding Citizen of the Capital".

With the theme "Solidarity, innovation, creativity, emulation to build a civilized, modern, happy capital", the Hanoi City Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2025 - 2030 was held to evaluate the results of the patriotic emulation movement, the commendation work for the period 2020 - 2025 and to propose directions, tasks, and solutions to promote the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030; commend achievements in patriotic emulation movements and honor heroic collectives and individuals, national emulation fighters, typical advanced examples, good people, exemplary good deeds and outstanding citizens of the capital in 2025.

The Deputy Director of the City Department of Home Affairs emphasized that this is a meaningful activity held on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025) and to welcome the 18th City Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The Hanoi City Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2025 - 2030 is organized by the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, with about 1,150 delegates. It will take place in one session, scheduled for the morning of October 10, at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace and will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television.

Vu Ha, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, said that over the past time, the Emulation and Reward Commission and the Department of Home Affairs have closely coordinated with relevant agencies to develop plans and implement preparations to ensure the progress and quality of the Congress. All levels and sectors of the city have organized practical emulation movements associated with political tasks, socio-economic development, national defense, security, Party building, and the political system. Press agencies have had many articles, special pages, and columns that clearly reflect the vibrant emulation atmosphere, contributing to creating social consensus and encouraging people to look forward to the Congress.

To contribute to the successful organization of the Hanoi City Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2025-2030 period, towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the City Party Committee requests press agencies to promote the dissemination of the results of patriotic emulation movements; typical advanced collectives and individuals, typical patriotic emulation movements, good models, creative ways of doing things, thereby replicating typical examples and spreading the emulation spirit throughout society.

Along with that, press agencies promptly and accurately reflect the activities of preparing and organizing the Congress, contributing to motivating the entire Party Committee, government and people of the Capital to compete to successfully carry out political tasks and socio-economic development in the 2025-2030 period.
