A new and exclusive product called “Green Island Symphony” is a combination of natural, historical, culinary and artistic experiences on Cat Ba Island and Hai Phong city center that has just been announced by the Hanoi Unesco Travel Club (HUTC).
New mark of summer beach tourism 2025
The 2-day, 1-night tour "Symphony of the Green Island" in Cat Ba (departing from May 23 to September 2, 2025) not only brings visitors to the blue sea and white sand, but also creates a distinct impression thanks to the live light show "Symphony of the Green Island" - a large-scale art program held for the first time on a floating stage in the middle of Cat Ba sea.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Unesco Travel Club: “This Cat Ba tour program is built on the basis of realizing the cooperation agreement between Sun World Group and HUTC, in response to the campaign “Vietnam, go to love,” launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.”
“This is the first product in a series of collaborations, simultaneously exploiting many outstanding elements such as culture, history, cuisine and especially the latest live show of Sun World called 'Green Island Symphony,' which is also the highlight of the program. In addition, the journey also brings other attractive experiences such as discovering Hai Phong cuisine through a food tour, or learning about history through the destination of Bach Dang Giang Relic - a place that marks the heroic feats of our ancestors,” said Mr. Tuan Anh.

This tour product is currently being distributed at a price from 2,250,000 VND/person, including show tickets, cable car tickets, and 4-star hotel accommodation in the center of Hai Phong city.
As the person who directly builds the product and connects the alliance, Mr. Tuan Anh hopes that the program will open up a new option, suitable for many ages, especially tourists in Hanoi and neighboring provinces. The product has a short duration, good quality, reasonable price, suitable for everyone from the elderly to children, suitable for summer weekend vacations.
“ Green Island Symphony ” in Cat Ba has set two Guinness World Records: “ Jetski fireworks show with the largest formation ” and “ Most acrobatic flyboard turns in one minute. ” The show is a combination of extreme sports, art and performance technology, bringing a unique experience to the audience.
“This is not just a simple tour, but an effort to reposition summer tourism products in the North towards professionalism, quality, experience value and community benefits,” said the HUTC Standing Vice President, and said that the alliance of businesses in the Club will continue to build other short-term 2-day-1-night tourism programs such as Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, to create a set of year-round short-term tourism products for the Hanoi market and neighboring localities.
“The goal of businesses is to be able to 'break the ice' of seasonality in the Northern region with products of stable quality and reasonable costs,” Mr. Tuan Anh emphasized.
Products rich in experience
The subtle combination of heritage tourism, entertainment, and local cuisine is the highlight of the journey. The tour departs from Hanoi, taking visitors to the Bach Dang Giang relic site, which preserves the feat of defeating invaders three times on the historic river.
In the evening, visitors will immerse themselves in the live music festival "Green Island Symphony" performed on a 50,000m² floating stage, combining music, lights, fireworks, jetski performances by more than 40 international athletes and 9 world record holders.

In addition, the journey also offers a Hai Phong food tour experience with specialties such as crab rice noodles, spicy bread, su din, worm tea... designed by allied businesses.
MTV Travel Director, Mr. Doan Ngoc Tung said: “We build tours with very low profit margins, almost only to support the market, accompany Hai Phong tourism and contribute to spreading high-quality products to Northern tourists during the peak summer season of 2025.”
“The special thing about the program is that instead of staying on the island, we choose to stay overnight in the center of Hai Phong. This helps reduce the pressure on overloaded accommodation facilities in Cat Ba in the summer, while also creating conditions for tourists to have more time to explore food tours and local urban life, which is a unique advantage,” said Mr. Doan Ngoc Tung.
Regarding the show “Green Island Symphony,” Mr. Tung commented: “This is one of the largest live-action shows ever in Vietnam. I personally experienced it firsthand and was truly impressed by its grandeur, meticulousness, and very special artistic effects. This is a show that is worth experiencing at least once in a lifetime.”

As for the General Director of Song Linh Tour (a member unit in the alliance implementing the “Green Island Symphony” tour), Ms. Pham Thi Nhu Mai expressed: “I myself used to live in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, watched Tet fireworks since I was a child and went to Da Nang to attend international fireworks competitions, but when watching the show in Cat Ba, everyone had to exclaim: never seen such a beautiful fireworks display. All the senses of the audience were awakened. This is an experience that can only be fully felt when witnessing it with my own eyes.”
It can be seen that the formation of this tour alliance represents a new trend in the Vietnamese tourism market, when small and medium-sized enterprises proactively join hands, build unique products, share infrastructure, costs, and sales channels, instead of going it alone as before.
At the same time, this is also a testament to the effectiveness of the multilateral cooperation model, connecting public-private-community travel, which is being replicated in Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, and opening up a sustainable direction for the domestic tourism industry in the coming time./.
