The Hanoi Department of Tourism has just reported on the results of the service work during the National Day holiday on September 2 in the area. This year's National Day holiday lasts 4 days, during which many tourism stimulus activities, cultural activities, entertainment to increase experiences, attract domestic and international tourists to the capital are simultaneously organized. As a result of the 4-day holiday, the total number of tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 672.9 thousand, an increase of 5% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international tourists are estimated to welcome 58.9 thousand, an increase of 35.8% over the same period last year (some leading markets include: India, Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, USA, UK, ...); Domestic tourists are estimated to welcome 614 thousand arrivals, a slight increase of 3.6% over the same period last year (this year, most tourists choose to stay and travel in tourist areas and destinations around the suburbs of Hanoi capital, which tends to increase dramatically). Total revenue from tourists is estimated to reach more than 2.18 trillion VND, an increase of 8.3% over the same period in 2023.

According to data provided by a number of key tourist areas and spots in the city, the number of tourists to tourist areas and attractions during the 4-day holiday from August 31 to September 3 increased quite well, such as: Hanoi Zoo welcomed 76,671 visitors; Hoan Kiem Lake walking area welcomed about 47,000 visitors; Hoa Lo Prison Relic welcomed 28,020 visitors; Thang Long Imperial Citadel Relic and Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Relic welcomed more than 22,000 visitors; Bao Son Paradise Park welcomed 20,382 visitors; Son Tay walking street and Son Tay ancient citadel relic welcomed about 15,000 visitors; Ao Vua tourist area welcomed 15,000 visitors; Museum of Ethnology welcomed 6,500 visitors; Tuan Chau - Hanoi entertainment area welcomed 5,500 visitors...
