According to information from Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), on October 29, the Railway industry will abolish trains SE1, SE19 and SE20.

“Trains SE2, SE3/4, SE5/6, SE7/9 and SE9/10 are still running, however, due to the unpredictable time of the route opening due to complicated weather developments, the above trains are delayed for many hours, waiting at the stations waiting for transfer (from Huong Thuy Station to Dong Ha Station and vice versa),” said the VNR leader.

Passengers with tickets to stations beyond Dong Ha for trains SE3/5/7/9 and beyond Hue station for trains SE2/4/6/8/10 on October 29 will have their tickets returned free of charge and can consider continuing their journey or returning their tickets free of charge at the stations within no more than 30 days from the date of departure stated on the ticket.

From October 28 to 10:00 a.m. on October 29, the Railway sector safely transported 4,576 passengers from Huong Thuy Station to Dong Ha Station and vice versa. During the time the train was waiting for transfer, passengers were served free meals and drinks.
