Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) has just announced information on senior personnel restructuring.

Accordingly, at the meeting held on December 4, the Board of Directors of Eximbank approved Mr. Nguyen Canh Anh to resign from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors according to his personal wishes.

At the same time, Eximbank's Board of Directors elected Ms. Pham Thi Huyen Trang, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, to hold the position of Chairwoman of Eximbank's Board of Directors (term 2025 - 2030) from December 4.

Ms. Pham Thi Huyen Trang has a master's degree in banking and finance, and a senior degree in political theory. She worked for 12 years at VietinBank and held many important positions at the bank such as Deputy Director of Hanoi Branch, Head of Credit Approval Department, Deputy Director of Credit Approval Block... She was also an independent member of the Board of Directors of VietinBank Securities Company...

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Canh Anh was elected as an additional member of the Board of Directors of Eximbank for the 2020-2025 term. He was then elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eximbank for the 2025-2030 term and the legal representative of the bank from April 2025.

After being approved to resign from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Canh Anh still participates in Eximbank's activities as a member of the Board of Directors.
