FPT Software (a member company of FPT Corporation) and Subaru (one of the most trusted automobile manufacturers worldwide) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership to promote innovation and development for both companies.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, FPT Software will leverage its technological capabilities and global market experience to drive digital transformation and develop smart factories for Subaru. Specifically, FPT Software will help Subaru improve its internal information systems and integrated vehicle features by upgrading existing systems, automating system operations, infrastructure, and security, while promoting the adoption of advanced technologies such as AI and robotic process automation. Furthermore, by leveraging the potential IT workforce from educational institutions in Vietnam, FPT Software aims to build a high-quality operational personnel supply ecosystem for Subaru.
“With its high-quality human resources and solid technological capabilities and knowledge, FPT Software believes it can help Subaru lead the way in manufacturing innovation. We plan to deploy 200 personnel between now and 2025 to work alongside Subaru and move towards a more comprehensive partnership,” said Mr. Do Van Khac, Deputy General Director of FPT Software and General Director of FPT Japan.
The strategic partnership with Subaru reaffirms FPT Software's position as a reputable digital transformation partner in the automotive industry and its extensive presence in the Japanese market. Leveraging over 10 years of experience and a workforce of more than 4,000 engineers and experts in automotive software, the company aims to achieve $1 billion in revenue from providing software products and services to the automotive industry by 2030. This technology segment is also expected to significantly contribute to FPT's goal of achieving $5 billion in revenue from IT services for overseas markets by 2030.
