In the vibrant atmosphere of the festival, in his opening speech, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Hung Ward and Head of the Ward Congress Steering Committee, Tran Manh Hai, emphasized: The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Hung Ward have implemented many programs and plans, especially the campaign "All people practice physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh" associated with the movement "All people unite to build a cultured life," creating a strong transformation. The physical education and sports movement has developed extensively and is gradually being improved; infrastructure has been strengthened, contributing to improving the health of the people.
The organizing committee mobilized forces from across the region, with a total of nearly 600 athletes participating and competing in 8 sports from October 5th to 22nd, including: Chinese chess, chess, football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, tug-of-war, and aerobics.
The opening ceremony took place in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere with the participation of approximately 1,000 people, including officials, teachers, students, association members, youth union members, athletes, and referees.
