According to the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, after reviewing the province, 5 out of 9 districts ensure to meet 9 criteria of new rural districts in the period of 2021-2025. These are districts: Gia Loc, Binh Giang, Nam Sach, Kim Thanh and Thanh Mien. Ninh Giang district still lacks 2 criteria: health-culture-education, environment. Tu Ky district lacks 3 criteria: planning, irrigation and natural disaster prevention, economy . Cam Giang district lacks 3 criteria: traffic, health-culture-education, environment. Thanh Ha district lacks 4 criteria: traffic, health-culture-education, environment, quality of living environment.
Regarding the construction of advanced new rural districts, the two districts of Nam Sach and Ninh Giang have completed the most criteria, achieving 7 out of 9 criteria. The remaining localities have achieved 3-6 criteria. All 9 districts have not yet fulfilled the criteria of health, culture and education .
