Gasoline prices slightly decreased, RON95 decreased by 99 VND/liter

Accordingly, the price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by 99 VND/liter, down to 20,962 VND/liter. Similarly, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 116 VND/liter, down to 19,730 VND/liter.

Diesel 0.05S has a new price of 18,321 VND/liter, recording a decrease of only 179 VND/liter.

Kerosene is priced at VND18,627/liter, after a decrease of VND163/liter.

Only the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil increased, with the new price of 16,090 VND/kg, an increase of 179 VND/kg.

Thus, gasoline prices have returned to a slight decrease after the previous sharp increase.

In this management period, the inter-ministerial committee continues not to set aside or use the petroleum price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.

Thus, the price stabilization fund has remained unused for many months.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this management period (from October 10 to 17) is affected by many factors.

These include escalating tensions in the Middle East, OPEC lowering its forecast for global oil demand growth in 2024 and the following year, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine...

The above factors have caused world oil prices to increase and decrease depending on the product in recent days, but with a slight downward trend.

Of which, RON 92 gasoline for blending E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 1.14%; RON 95 gasoline decreased by 0.93%; oil products also decreased by 1.38-1.48% and 180CST 3.5S fuel oil increased by 1.10%.

Thus, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 20 times and decreased 20 times. Diesel prices have increased 16 times and decreased 23 times.
