Bustling with activity

Tam Xuan Commune Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Duc Hung said that after the merger, the unit proactively coordinated with the Commune Police to carry out many practical activities, creating a strong influence among union members and youth.

Training and legal dissemination classes for union members and youth of grassroots union branches were deployed first. The training content was rich and closely linked to practice such as participating in safe and civilized traffic; preventing and combating drug abuse; Cyber ​​Security Law and skills to prevent and combat online fraud.

The bright spot is that the Tam Xuan Commune Police Youth Union is always a pioneer, accompanying the local young generation. The Youth Union has issued a resolution on propaganda and legal education with the central goal of taking propaganda and legal education as the foundation, creating changes in awareness and action among young people.

Tam Xuan Commune Police coordinated with the principals of primary and secondary schools in the area to organize more than 10 rounds of legal propaganda for about 5,000 students, administrators and teachers.

At the propaganda sessions, the commune police informed about not using motorbikes or electric motorbikes when underage; how to recognize traffic signs; skills to handle fire and explosion situations, use fire extinguishers, escape in case of fire...

At the same time, hundreds of helmets were donated to students; students, teachers and staff were encouraged to sign a commitment to strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung said that not stopping at a few key activities, from the beginning of 2025 until now, Tam Xuan youth have coordinated to organize many extracurricular activities, creating a playground for the young generation to gain more knowledge about the law.

“The commune union has promoted many forms of propaganda such as distributing leaflets warning about fraudulent tricks at Ba Bau market; holding thematic activities to say no to school violence, organizing activities at schools on Vietnam Law Day (November 9), reporting on security and order incidents... to help the young generation easily understand, easily remember and form a sense of living in accordance with the law,” said Mr. Hung.

In Tam Anh commune, union members and teachers join hands to implement the model of "Traffic safety school gate", standing guard at the school gate every day to remind students and parents to comply with traffic safety regulations.

Tam Anh Commune Youth Union Secretary Huynh Minh Phat said that the unit regularly focuses on propagating fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue, and traffic safety for school youth.

Most recently, at Cao Ba Quat High School, Tam Anh Commune Youth Union coordinated to organize the "Youth with Traffic Culture" Festival in response to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Commune Youth Union has launched the Tam Anh Commune Media Committee and the Youth Volunteer Team to participate in handling traffic incidents in the area. In addition to being informed about the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, union members and young people are instructed in skills and practice safe driving.

Create a "shield" to protect young people

Vo Dang Quoc (Chap Canh Passion Club, Tam Xuan Commune) acknowledged that in the context of modern society, young people in rural areas face many risks such as social evils, school violence, high-tech fraud, online abuse or traffic violations.

Therefore, the youth union and commune police's legal education plays a role in guiding behavior and forming the habit of living in compliance with the law. This is especially useful in the digital age, when social networks can easily make young people fall into wrong behavior such as spreading false information, insulting others' honor or participating in online scams.

“Rural youth need to be equipped with legal knowledge to have the skills to defend themselves against risks. Not only understanding the law, they also need to know how to contact authorities and collect evidence when they are abused, so as not to become victims or be taken advantage of,” said Vo Dang Quoc.

Tam Anh Commune Youth Union Secretary Huynh Minh Phat said that in the coming time, the Commune Youth Union will closely coordinate with the Commune Police and schools to integrate legal content into teaching in a lively and practical way. At the same time, it will create more attractive legal playgrounds, combining with families in the management and education of adolescents.

“The commune also promotes communication through social networks - a familiar access channel for young people in a lively, easy-to-understand form, avoiding rigidity. When fully equipped, each young person will have a solid “shield”, knowing how to protect themselves, respect others and live according to the law,” Mr. Phat emphasized.
