Within the framework of the program, evaluating the results of the past 9 months, the Union leaders commended the Associations for actively participating in peace , friendship, solidarity and cooperation activities.

In addition to annual friendship activities, there are also meaningful large-scale commemorative programs such as the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, the 25th Anniversary of Hanoi being honored by UNESCO as a City for Peace... Many Associations also contribute their responsibilities to the social security work of the City.
Accordingly, delegates participating in the program shared many valuable practical experiences in organizing peace and friendship activities, from planning to implementation; at the same time, in efforts to strengthen cooperative relations with embassies and international partners.

Regarding foreign NGO mobilization work, many suggestions that the Union should increase training and guidance on how to build programs to call for aid were noted and considered by the Union's leadership.
The experience-sharing program is an opportunity to review and assess the achievements as well as the challenges in people-to-people diplomacy in Hanoi over the past period. Through this, it also contributes to improving the operational capacity of member associations in the Asia-Multilateral region, innovating thinking and working methods; and finding solutions to further enhance the image and position of the Union in particular and people-to-people diplomacy in general.
