Ha Long welcomes 120,000 visitors on weekends

With the available advantages, synchronous investment attention and many interesting activities and experiences, the number of tourists coming to entertainment and recreation spots in Ha Long City is increasing, especially on weekends. During the weekend of June 29-30 alone, Ha Long welcomed nearly 120,000 visitors.

A large number of people and tourists come to have fun and experience at the commercial street modeled after a night entertainment market by the sea - VuiFest Ha Long, Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city.

Over the weekend, the number of visitors to Ha Long Bay is estimated at over 41,000, of which nearly 35,000 are domestic visitors and over 6,600 are international visitors; SunWorld Ha Long welcomed over 50,000 visitors; Quang Ninh Museum welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors... These numbers demonstrate the appeal of Ha Long tourism in particular and Quang Ninh tourism in general to domestic and foreign visitors. In recent times, in order to strongly develop the tourism sector, Ha Long City has attracted many large investors with large-scale, high-class tourism and resort projects, which have been changing the face of the city, turning the city into a leading attractive destination in the North, becoming a tourist city and a center for organizing international events. These include Sun World Ha Long Park, FLC Resort Complex, Tuan Chau International Tourist Area, Provincial Museum - Library complex, Vinpearl Ha Long Resort, Vincom Commercial Center, Ha Long Flower Park... Along with that is the enhancement of responsibility, implementation of many practical solutions in the management, protection and promotion of Ha Long Bay heritage.

Over 20,000 visitors came to visit Quang Ninh Museum on the weekend.

Ms. Phan Thanh Hang, a tourist from Hanoi, said: In the hot weather and right on the children's summer vacation, Ha Long (Quang Ninh) is a very interesting destination. Coming here, our family's first experience is to visit Ha Long Bay, then go swimming and play games. Hopefully, along with the strong development of transport infrastructure, Ha Long will continue to exploit and expand more entertainment spots and experiential activities so that we, tourists, can come to experience and enjoy the weekend. We believe that, with the strong attraction of Ha Long Bay and entertainment, tourism and resort spots in the province, in 2024 Quang Ninh will complete the goal of welcoming 17 million visitors to visit and travel as set out.
