Visiting and seeing the reality at the border posts on the Northwestern border of the Fatherland, including: Ma Lu Thang, Dao San (Lai Chau province); A Mu Sung and Lao Cai International Border Post (Lao Cai province), the working delegation of the Hanoi Journalists Association, reporters and editors of the capital's press agencies were introduced to and met many typical and advanced collectives and individuals in performing the tasks of managing and protecting territorial sovereignty , border security and border diplomacy and people's diplomacy of officers and soldiers of the posts.
In addition, the working delegation also learned about the models and movements deployed by the Border Guards of Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces in recent times, which have been bringing practical results, contributing to the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, socio-economic development, and digital transformation, such as: "Teacher in green uniform - Accelerating digital transformation"; the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025, the movement "Adopted children of border guards", "Helping children go to school"...

The delegation also listened to and discussed with leaders, officers and soldiers of border posts and the Border Guard Command of Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces about the tasks of protecting border lines, landmarks and boundary markers; the fight against crime; patrolling and controlling as well as models to help people develop socio-economy in border communes.


Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Journalists Association Kieu Thanh Hung affirmed that the visit, fieldwork at border posts and working with the Border Guard Command of the two provinces of Lai Chau and Lao Cai helped reporters and editors of the capital's press agencies collect professional materials to prepare propaganda content for the Spring Binh Ngo 2026 publications and the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025). Reporters and editors also had the opportunity to exchange and discuss professional knowledge and broaden their perspectives on the tasks of the border guard force in the new situation.
