Hai Duong promptly detected and handled 33 dike and irrigation incidents.

Ngo Quyen commune (Thanh Mien district) mobilized forces to handle an incident at the Tay Ke Sat canal, part of the Bac Hung Hai irrigation system.

According to the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Hai Duong province, as of 5 PM on September 10th, the entire province had detected and promptly handled 33 incidents related to dikes and irrigation systems affected by floods. These included 8 dike incidents and 25 incidents on the inland irrigation system.

Dike failures occurred in Kinh Mon town (5 incidents) and Tu Ky district (3 incidents).

Regarding irrigation, Thanh Mien district had 19 incidents, Binh Giang district had 4 incidents, and Tu Ky, Ninh Giang, and Gia Loc districts each experienced 1 incident.

Local authorities coordinated with relevant agencies to handle the incident from the very beginning, ensuring the safety of dikes and inland irrigation systems.

On the evening of September 10th, Hai Duong maintained alert level II on the Thai Binh river system and alert level I on the Luoc river system. Patrol and guard forces were deployed at 267 dike monitoring stations throughout the province.
