9x coach leads U19 Uzbekistan to compete with U19 Vietnam

The 2024 International U19 Tournament will take place from June 4 to June 10 with the participation of 4 U19 teams: Vietnam, Korea, Uzbekistan and host China.

According to the schedule, the U19 Vietnam team will play their opening match against the host U19 China on June 4. Next, coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team will meet U19 Korea on June 8 and U19 Uzbekistan on June 10.

In this tournament, U19 Uzbekistan brought a strong squad consisting of the core players of Olympik II Club, a club established to compete in the Uzbekistan Second Division with the aim of helping players train, aiming to participate in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Most of these faces are in the U17 Uzbekistan squad that participated in the U17 Asian Cup and the U17 World Cup 2023.

What is special is that leading U19 Uzbekistan in the upcoming tournament is a very young coach - Farkhod Nishanov. This coach was born in 1991, just got his Pro Coaching license in 2023 and is highly appreciated by the Uzbekistan Football Federation.

This young coach is tasked with "molding" the young generation of Uzbekistan football players to continue the achievements of the generation of players born in 2001-2003, who won tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
