Coach Philippe Troussier pointed out the problems that the Vietnamese team encountered against Uzbekistan, and affirmed that the whole team will continue to improve their playing style and prepare best for the match against Korea.

I am satisfied with the system's synchronization and the players' concentration. However, I am not satisfied with the times when the team had to make a transition from no ball to having the ball to counter-attack, as well as a few times when the ball was misplaced and the opponent won it back."

The French strategist added: "The players all tried their best, both in training and in competition. The three matches of the Vietnamese team this October were not easy. The team lost the last two matches and now we have a few days to rest, recover, learn from experience, and prepare best for the match against Korea."

This afternoon (October 14), coach Philippe Troussier and his team traveled from China to Korea, having 3 training sessions to prepare for the match against the Korean team on October 17.
