According to VTC News, the Vietnamese team will eliminate 3 players: Viet Anh, Xuan Manh and Van Duc. Of which, Viet Anh and Van Duc will not play in the friendly match with the Hong Kong team (China) on June 15. Coach Troussier created conditions for these two players to play in the friendly match with Hai Phong Club (June 17 evening) but their performance has not convinced the French strategist.

Xuan Manh entered the field in the second half of the match against Hong Kong. Coach Troussier arranged him to play as a central midfielder.
