The HMD Fusion X1 is equipped with the Xplora parental control platform to help manage teenagers' activities. Designed to limit distractions, the device includes School Mode to restrict certain apps during school hours.
Weighing in at 202 grams, the device is primarily made of plastic to reduce costs. Furthermore, it boasts splash-proof capabilities with an IP54 rating, ensuring durability for everyday use.

Besides the power of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, the HMD Fusion X1 also offers two storage configurations: 6/128 GB or 8/256 GB, with expandable memory via microSD card. The device features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate, combined with a maximum brightness of up to 600 nits. The 5000 mAh battery supports 33W fast charging, and includes a 3.5 mm audio jack and NFC connectivity.
On the back, the phone features a 1080p main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera boasts a 50MP resolution. The Fusion X1 runs on Android 14, promising two major updates and three years of security updates.
Notably, the Fusion X1 supports HMD's Fusion accessory platform with six smart connectors on the back, allowing users to connect various accessories such as ring lights, game controllers, and power banks.
Additionally, HMD also introduced a special edition called Barca Fusion, designed specifically for fans of the Barcelona football club. This edition not only features a special phone case with player signatures that glow under UV light, but also comes with a collection of themed images, sounds, and several pre-installed FC Barcelona apps.
