Head of the contest organizing committee, General Director of Multi-style Media Joint Stock Company, Mr. Dam Phuong Anh said so at the press conference officially launching the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 contest held this morning, April 27, in Hanoi .
Accordingly, through this contest, contestants will be able to gain in-depth knowledge of history, recognize the cultural diversity of ethnic groups and, most importantly, further enhance national pride, gratitude and love for the beautiful country of Vietnam.
This is also a rare opportunity for candidates to experience reality across the country in a special way and participate in many meaningful activities to contribute to self-improvement, promoting the country's beauty to all five continents.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 contest will take place from April 27 to July 20. The semi-finals will take place in Sa Pa, Lao Cai province from June 25 to July 10. The finals will take place in Cam Pha, Quang Ninh from July 10 to 20, 2024.
The representative of the organizing committee said that one of the differences between Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 and other beauty contests is that: throughout the competition journey, contestants will visit and experience historical sites and famous scenic spots; contestants will come to new lands with strong national identity to participate in activities, thereby contributing to promoting the image of nature and people of the destination to domestic and international friends...
Notably, the contest format is organized in a creative way, focusing on the authentic experiences of the contestants at historical sites and scenic spots, aiming to carry out the mission of promoting and spreading the image of Vietnamese destinations, contributing to leaving a strong mark of Vietnamese tourism on the world map. Throughout the contest, there will be spectacular and attractive activities with vibrant music and fashion performances imbued with national cultural identity.
According to Head of the Organizing Committee Dam Phuong Anh, the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 contest immediately received public attention and enthusiastic response from girls across the country who registered to participate in the contest after announcing its enrollment.
Up to now, the organizing committee has received nearly 300 qualified applications to enter the Preliminary round. Regarding the awards, the organizing committee also announced that the beauty who wins the highest position of the contest will be awarded a valuable crown, along with a cash prize of 300 million VND along with many other valuable prizes from sponsors. In addition, the first runner-up will be awarded a cash prize and gifts worth 200 million VND, along with many other valuable prizes. The second runner-up will be awarded a cash prize and gifts worth 100 million VND, along with many other valuable prizes.
