An announcement from Ninh Van Bay Tourism Real Estate Joint Stock Company (stock code NVT) - the owner of the luxurious Six Senses Ninh Van Bay resort - states that Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Han, also known as Miss Ngoc Han, will no longer hold the position of Deputy General Director after two years in the role.
The decision to relieve her of her duties was based on Miss Ngoc Han's resignation request, citing the need to focus on other personal goals. Recently, the beauty queen announced her decision to pursue a master's degree in Applied Art Theory and History at the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts.

According to the company's 2023 Annual Report, Miss Ngoc Han holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Fine Arts and has over 10 years of continuous experience in the fields of culture, art, fashion , and media. Miss Ngoc Han was appointed Deputy General Director of NVT on March 16, 2022. During her tenure, she received a salary of over 933 million VND in 2022 (approximately 98 million VND/month) and 1.4 billion VND in 2023 (approximately 117 million VND/month).
Ninh Vân Bay is a tourism real estate company specializing in the investment, construction, and operation of high-end eco-resorts in Vietnam. The company primarily operates in the resort tourism sector, developing and managing luxury resorts such as Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay, Emralda Ninh Bình, Lạc Việt New Tourist City, and Six Senses Sai Gon River. Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay is considered the company's "golden goose," and one of the most famous resorts in Vietnam.
At the end of Q1 2024, NVT generated revenue of nearly VND 114 billion, a 23% increase compared to the same period last year, and after-tax profit of nearly VND 16.6 billion, instead of a net loss of nearly VND 5.6 billion as in Q1 2023. According to NVT, this result was thanks to intensified marketing and business activities with foreign customers.
The company's business performance recovered in 2023, achieving total revenue of over 377 billion VND, equivalent to more than 1 billion VND per day. Total revenue in 2023 was also over 40 billion VND higher than in 2022. As a result, NVT achieved a pre-tax profit of over 51.8 billion VND in 2023, nearly double the 29 billion VND profit of the previous year.
