Hoa Lu closes training class on teaching Cheo singing, Xam singing, Van singing and improving skills in using traditional musical instruments

On April 5, the Hoa Lu District Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center held the closing ceremony of a training course to teach Cheo singing, Xam singing, Van singing and improve the skills of using traditional musical instruments for art clubs, teams and groups in the district.

During the 10-day training period, students were trained by artists, artisans, and musicians, taught ancient Cheo and Xam melodies, basic knowledge of Cheo, Xam, Van singing skills, and the use of traditional musical instruments.

At the end of the training course, most of the students were proficient in using traditional musical instruments, performing fluently Cheo, Xam and Van melodies. The training course organizers selected 7 best performances to perform at the class summary session, including: Cheo melodies Do dua, Luyen nam cung, Sa dia pheo, Dao lieu; Xam songs An duc Tien Hoang, Quyet chi tu than; Hat van Co doi thuong ngan...

The class is organized to create a core source of local arts, to serve as the core for traditional art clubs serving tourists , and at the same time contribute to nurturing, teaching and preserving traditional art forms in the area.
