Artist Nguyen Van Dang, Cai Luong Troupe of Vietnam National Traditional Theater, feels proud to bring his singing to serve the audience at the National Exhibition Center.
“I just returned from a long tour abroad, but when I received the assignment to perform at the National Exhibition Center for the audience, the artists and I were very happy. I chose the song “New Market” to sing in the program, with the desire to spread and honor the national culture in this cultural space. Here, we will perform continuously from August 28 to September 15,” said artist Nguyen Van Dang.
Entering the art space here, viewers can feel the national colors in traditional stages, with the resounding sounds of drums, zithers, and monochords, combined with the deep and deep voices of quan ho, cheo, ca tru, and regional folk songs.

Not only enjoying the art, the audience also lived in an atmosphere of exchange, where traditional culture met modern flow. Each performance became a special highlight, making the exhibition not only a static display place, but also a vibrant cultural space, affirming the eternal value of traditional Vietnamese art in the hearts of today's public.

Sharing his feelings when performing at the National Achievement Exhibition, artist Nong Phuong Dong said: “I am very happy and proud to be here on the special occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2. I see that not every artist has the opportunity to come here to perform in an art space at a national exhibition like this. Therefore, I have carefully prepared each performance. Although I have performed on many stages, what I feel is that compared to other stages, this place has its own color, traditional music is organized more and there is no distance between the audience and the artists. Moreover, when performing here, the artists and the audience can interact and chat, which is extremely interesting.”
Enjoying the Tinh performances here, Nguyen Thu Ha, a student at Hanoi University of Culture, shared: “The resounding sound of the Tinh creates a different musical space, both calm and soaring. The rustic tone of the Tinh is closely associated with the mountains and forests, with the sound of flowing streams and the life of ethnic people, making the audience clearly feel the breath of nature, the sincerity of the highland culture in the heart of Hanoi. Watching the artists perform the Tinh, I felt like I was sitting in the middle of a village listening to the gentle sound of the instrument by the red fire. This art space is a “bridge” that brings the audience closer to traditional cultural values. When leaving the exhibition space, in my heart there is still a sweet echo of the national cultural identity.”
The national cultural space at the National Achievements Exhibition brings the public a unique experience, both emotional and imbued with historical values. The exhibition does not stop at displaying artifacts, but also vividly recreates unique cultural activities: From the bustling drum beats, the melodious sounds of the zither, to the skillful hands of artisans weaving, brocade weaving or making clay figurines. All blend together to create a colorful cultural picture.
