Studying Korean language, are you afraid of unemployment?

I like to learn Korean, I plan to work as an interpreter or teach at a center in the future, but my relatives think this field is prone to unemployment.

I am in grade 12 and I am interested in Korean Language not because of Kpop or Kdrama but because I like to learn about Korean culture and people. I plan to work as an interpreter or teach Korean after studying Korean so that I can open a center. But my parents are afraid that it will be difficult to find a job after graduating from this major.

I am very confused and do not know what to decide. I hope everyone can give me advice.
