According to Dr. Ly Minh Thai, the inspection team is verifying additional information and will work with the owner of the facility to clarify the matter.

Previously, residents had filed complaints alleging that the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine Clinic, located at 75 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Pleiku City, was operating illegally.

Following complaints from residents, on the afternoon of September 30th, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health and the Gia Lai Provincial Police Department conducted a surprise inspection of the facility.

At that time, a man claiming to be Doctor Thanh was examining and advising a patient at the facility, but he did not cooperate with the inspection team.

After verification, the inspection team determined that "Doctor Thanh" is actually named Vo Minh Chien (28 years old), residing in Cu An commune, Dak Po district.

Vo Minh Chien claimed to have graduated with a degree in culture, but it is unclear what level of education he received or which university he graduated from. He did not present any diplomas, and this "doctor" does not possess a medical practice license.

Chiến Khai identified himself as a doctor and provided consultations and examinations to customers under the direction of the facility's manager.

Currently, the owner of the facility is in his hometown dealing with personal matters and is not yet in Gia Lai. Therefore, the Gia Lai Department of Health has sent an invitation to the owner to come in for a meeting to clarify related issues.

For the time being, the inspection team has ordered the facility to immediately cease the violations, stop all medical examination and treatment activities, and remove the signboard.

According to complaints from residents, several people had previously visited this facility for medical treatment, spending a considerable amount of money. One person, in particular, was examined by "Doctor Thanh," who prescribed sclerotherapy and high-frequency laser treatments costing 18 million VND, but their condition remained unchanged.
