On May 22nd, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that one of the seven projects by Vietnamese students participating in the 2023 International Science and Engineering Fair won third prize. The project, titled "Pharmacological effects on the central nervous system of essential oils from the fruit and leaves of *Moringa oleifera* based on a pharmacological network," was created by two students, Nguyen Thi Mai Anh and Nguyen Binh Giang (High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
This year's International Science and Engineering Fair features 61 countries and territories with 1,302 projects submitted by 1,600 students. Vietnam has 7 projects participating in the competition and is one of 33 countries and territories with projects that won official awards. The Ministry of Education and Training stated that the 7 projects participating in this year's International Science and Engineering Fair were selected from 143 projects that participated in the national-level competition for high school students in the 2022-2023 academic year.

According to statistics, Hanoi currently has 307 registered vocational education institutions. Through job fairs, the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has created opportunities for connection between vocational education institutions and businesses to improve training quality, keep up-to-date with market trends and labor recruitment needs.
