Hoi An implements many activities to promote innovative startups

Since the beginning of 2024, Hoi An City has implemented many activities to promote innovative startups. In particular, the City People's Committee has coordinated with the Provincial Innovative Startup Steering Committee to organize training on developing innovative startup projects, communications, and commerce for more than 50 production and business establishments.

Guide, advise, support startup ideas and projects to participate in the evaluation, recognition and encouragement of creative startup ideas and projects in the province. Of which, Hoi An has 3 projects recognized as provincial startup projects with 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes.

Up to now, businesses, cooperatives and business establishments in the area have developed 4 points to introduce, display and sell OCOP products, typical rural industrial products and start-up products.

On this occasion, the city deployed a Plan to develop sales points for OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and Quang Nam specialties in Hoi An City for the period 2023 - 2025.
