This afternoon (November 3), at the Hall of the Department of Science and Technology, the Advisory Council evaluated and accepted the results of the implementation of the science and technology project "Research and propose solutions to improve the quality of political theory teaching in Lai Chau province" chaired by Lai Chau Provincial Political School, with MSc. Dang Thu Hieu as the head.

Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of the Departments, branches and sectors: Propaganda and Mass Mobilization of the province, the Culture and Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Education and Training, Ethnicity and Religion, Science and Technology, Home Affairs, Lai Chau College... and scientists from the Provincial Political School. In his opening speech, Master Nguyen Minh Hieu - Chairman of the Council: Teaching Political Theory is one of the most important tasks in training and fostering cadres and party members - the core force in implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies. In the current conditions, when the requirement to build a cadre team that meets the standards of political qualities and practical capacity is increasingly high, innovation and improvement of the quality of teaching Political Theory becomes an urgent requirement. In Lai Chau province - a mountainous border province with many difficulties, with the characteristics of fragmented terrain, the population is mainly ethnic minorities, teaching Political Theory faces many challenges in terms of classroom organization conditions, teaching staff, facilities and students' qualifications.

The Council listened to the project manager present a summary report on the project implementation results: Objectively and comprehensively assess the current status of political theory teaching at the Provincial Political School and district and city-level political centers in Lai Chau province in the period of 2018-2025, with components such as: program - documents; students; lecturers; facilities; output efficiency...; Analyze the causes and factors affecting the quality of political theory teaching, thereby identifying strengths, shortcomings and gaps that need to be adjusted; Forecast the impact trends in the coming period, especially after changing the organizational model of the District-level Political Center according to Decision 2027-QD/TU and in the roadmap to build a standard Provincial Political School according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW; Proposing a feasible and synchronous system of solutions to improve the quality of teaching LLCT in the whole province, both at the provincial and communal levels, to meet the requirements of innovation in teaching content and methods in the new period.
