Central Reporters Conference September 2023

On September 8, the Central Propaganda Department held a national online conference for central reporters in September 2023. Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department chaired the conference. Attending at the provincial bridge were comrades of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Huynh Tan Hanh, Director of the Provincial Police; provincial reporters; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and provincial units.

At the conference, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training informed the topic: "Key tasks for the 2023-2024 school year and major orientations of the Education and Training sector in the coming time"; representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the topic: "Current strategic competition between major powers - Impacts and policies of Vietnam".

Orienting the propaganda work in the coming time, the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested the propaganda and education system nationwide to closely follow the content of the topics reported at the conference to organize effective propaganda in localities in September. Along with that, focus on propagating solutions, results, determination, and efforts of all levels, sectors, businesses, and people in socio -economic development. Propagating important foreign affairs activities of the Party and State, especially the results of the official visit to Vietnam by Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong; the 43rd Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and related summits in Jakarta, Indonesia; the State visit to Vietnam from September 10 to 11, 2023 by US President Joe Biden at the invitation of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; the results achieved after 28 years of normalization of relations and 10 years of establishing a comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the US.

* On the same day, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies - Enterprises organized an online connection for the National Online Conference of Central Reporters in September 2023. Attending were comrades: Executive Committee members, Party Committee Inspection Committee members and secretaries and deputy secretaries of affiliated branches and Party committees.
